BT BILL PAYMENT 2 DURHAM GBR was charged and frauding people, unauthored use!
Fraude
£208.80 taken from my Mastercard - same day as my usual Sainsbury shopping. My BT bill is paid in a single payment for the year and I've NO other products or services from them. I think it's an odd'ish amount so as to make folk believe it's a valid transaction.
Criminals are now using BT Bill Payment 1, Durham as a fraudulent charge on your credit card. Contact your card provider immediately.
I did not immediately recognise this as I am not a BT phone/internet user until I twigged that it was an initial payment for BT Sport subscription on Sky.
I just have seen that I have been paying out £25 a month since AUGUST 2020 to BT Sales Duham and believe that it is fraudulent so I am cancelling the payment and will try to recover the money I have lost. I had thought this was for BT sport but it appears not.
