Unknown transaction on credit card statement
For us, this was a petrol purchase at Caltex Kingsgrove. We had to sign the EFTPOS docket at the time. I'm guessing that maybe the system was off line at the time and it got processed centrally (at Lidcombe?) some time later
No transaction to my knowledge was made for this charge - reported immediately to my bank fraud section and card cancellede
I had four separate charges in one day and then recently two separate charges a day apart - these are not my transactions.
Had this show up on my last CC statement and thought it was highly suspicious. A check through my receipts.. and found it was for a purchase from the Kathmandu store. Have purchased there before and it has never come up as "refer signed receipt Lidcombe" before so don't know what the story is there, but was definitely a legitimate purchase. Keep all your receipts!!
Yes, same as Robert for me, this was a Caltex fuel purchase when eftpos was not working & I signed a reciept in store
