This showed up on PayPal as a web transaction of $8.03. I have no idea what this transaction is for. There is a NYC taxi business S and S maintenance, but I was traveling at the time, in SF.. To make matters worse, PayPal denies my claim of fraud and cant/won’t tell me the site where the charge was made. Like others I can forget things, so maybe I made the charge, but I haven’t a clue.
This is the taxi company, it's not fraud. I have the same charge and it corresponds to when I used the CURB taxi app on my phone to pay for a cab using my Paypal account. There's a delay of a few days from the cab ride to the time it shows up on your account.
I just had one of these and it lined up with a NYC trip where I used several NYC taxis and used both the CURB and ARRO tax apps. But this is a stupid name for a cab company. I didn't keep the receipt to be perfectly sure but I've opted NOT to cancel my cc as a result.
