This charge is a scam, it was on my MasterCard and I DID NOT buy anything from Sears with this MasterCard
A CHARGE OF $334.78 WAS MADE ON MY CHASE FREEDON CARD. I NOTICED THIS ON MY BANK STATEMENT. WHICH WAS ENTERED ON MY CHJASE FREEDON ACCOUNT FOR $334.78 AND POSTED 9/4/16. The initial processing of a recent Sears Home Plan service call deductible allegedly lapsed, and was successfully processed four days later. It showed up on my statement as a Sears Roebuck 7108 Mira Loma CA. Therefore, the date and city did not match the original transaction, but the amount is correct and there is not a duplicate charge. According to a Sears customer service agent, this is not an unsual occurence. NOTE: Unfortunately, their collection agency, National Claims Center, initiated a claim over a week after the payment was successfully processed. After numerous calls and information provided, this dispute is yet to be resolved. Sears refuses to review their records to reverse the erroneous collection claim. The burden of proof of payment is mine even though they collected long before the false claim was generated. Buyer beware!
I saw the same charge on my CC and was about to dispute but then remembered I had Sears come out and service my refrigerator which I ordered a warranty service payable in 3 months. Hope that helps someone.
My amazon card was charge 226.16 and don't recall ever making a purchase at 7108 mira loma and still going back and fourth with chase trying to reverse the charges
My BofA debit card was charged $339.12 from SEARS ROEBUCK 7108 MIRA LOMA. BofA is taking care of it.
Bof A reversed their position and reversed the credit. Total scam and zero accountability.
